POPOotsdamer cycling art Challenge

Saturday 13th September 08 at 7pm
Potsdamer Straße between Kurfürsten- and Lützowstraße

«The Popoots’ circuit» «Le circuit de la Popoots» «Die Rennstrecke auf der Popoots»

An against the clock artistic cycling race and an event of speed and freestyle in the art of the wheel at Potsdamerstraße in Berlin on the art & culture event 'magistrale 2008' (www.magistrale-kulturnacht.de)! The call for participation is open to everybody, just needs to know how to ride a bicycle in the traffic law.

Evaluation criteria:
The technique, the time of race (negligible), the harmonious composition of the performance, the dress and the aesthetic style, the expression of the character, the originality, the ease and the assurance of the movements, the use of the space, the variations of the speed, the idea of infinity with the + and – and the …

Commission:
The members of the jury are critics and professionals from the art world and of the shooting race movie.

Award ceremony:
trophies, big prices and rewards about 8 pm

Conditions:
Participation "incognito" is allowed. The decisions of the jury are indisputable. Doping is banned; we remind that a control could be made at any time before and after the race. The participation of this event constitutes the civil and personal responsibility of every participant and in no event the liability of the organization. the traffic law must be respected.
